Drill Bit Ring by Barton Rivera

"The inspiration for this design comes from the cues I take from the design of industrial equipment, heavy machinery for example. In this case a drill bit.

 

 I wanted to see if I could take a drill bit, flatten it and make it into a ring.

 

Through the trial and error of the jewelry design process I was able to carve a ring out of wax and have cast into the ring you see before you. I hope you like it."
