Space 85 is a curated collection of artisan jewelry handcrafted by emerging artists in New York. We are thrilled to invite you to this two day event, where you can peruse a selection of hand made jewelry and shop for holiday gifts, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and other special occasions.

Meet the designers who create the jewels, learn about their materials and processes, and find something beautiful to adorn and cherish.

Thursday, Oct. 20: 3pm-9pm - Sip and Shop Reception - Enjoy a drink and light bite while browsing.

Friday, Oct. 21: 11am -5pm - Join the Conversation @2pm - Submit a question about jewelry when you RSVP. The designers will answer them on Friday.

Space 85 is an online platform that showcases exceptional artisan handcrafted jewelry from emerging jewelry designers in New York. The designers who are apart of Space 85 met through the Fred de Vos Wax Workshops in downtown Manhattan where their founder, Elise Thompson, has made jewelry since 2003. Elise saw firsthand what her peers were creating and wanted to highlight the handmade nature of their exquisite jewelry. In late 2019, space85.com was born.

The name of the collective, Space 85, was inspired by numerology and the physical downtown studio translated into an online “space”. The number 85 is significant in that its energy builds things for the greater good of the community. Number 85 “builds a solid foundation to support and secure a future for its community.” Our community is made up of independent jewelry designers. This online platform helps support our artistic community.

Our gallery offers discerning shoppers’ unique one-of-a-kind jewels, wearable art, and jewelry reflective of your originality. The allure of Space 85 is that shoppers can find a wide range of unique jewelry at various price points handcrafted in New York by women designers that you can’t find anywhere else.
