"My children started taking chess classes when they were youngsters once a week in Brooklyn. It's was a lovely community to join, a safe place to learn and grow. It inspired me to make Queen and King chess pieces in silver with leather cord to wear as pendants or even use on a chess board. Something that inspires strength, patience and strategy; learning to think many moves ahead in game and in life. The pendant is made from a piece of wax that is turned on a lathe using a custom made, hand carved tool. It is then caste in silver and put on a black cord."
