Inside Our West Village Pop-Up: Space 85 Trunk Show Highlights & Local Favorites

Updated: May 18

Space 85 trunk show at Selima Optique, West Village NYC in May 2025

Last weekend, Space 85 popped up in the West Village at the chic and eclectic Selima Optique, on Christopher Street. It was a picture-perfect spring weekend—sunshine spilling onto the sidewalks, neighbors and visitors alike sipping lattes, browsing boutiques, and strolling through one of New York’s most beloved neighborhoods.

Our trunk show was a wonderful success, drawing in a crowd that appreciated the craftsmanship, individuality, and heart behind our collection of handcrafted fine jewelry—each piece created by local New York artists.

Read on for a few standout pieces from the show and a guide to our favorite places in the neighborhood for shopping and dining. If you missed us this time, don’t worry—we’d love to help you find a piece that caught your eye. Just reach out via email for availability or to schedule a private appointment.

Fan Favorites from the Trunk Show

Mejia Jewelry's Pink Opal, Australian Opal, and pearl Necklaces and colorful gemstone pieces.

Mejia Jewelry’s textured Crescent Moon Necklace in gold (with or without diamonds) was an instant favorite. Its dreamy seahorse texture and touch of shimmer make it a standout piece for everyday wear. Also popular were her Keshi Pearl Necklace and X-Large Keshi Pearl Earrings—full of organic luster—as well as her vibrant Aquamarine Stud Earrings and her soft-hued Pink Opal Rough Nugget Necklace.

Sandrine B. Jewelry yellow gold and gemstone flower necklaces and ginkgo leaf necklace in bronze.

Visitors were drawn to Sandrine’s signature ear hook designs, especially on her Cone Shell Earrings. Her One-of-a-Kind Rutilated Quartz Honeycomb Earrings in 14k Fairmined Gold received plenty of admiration, along with her Organic Silver Cuff Bracelets and best-selling Lily Pad Pendant.

Patricia Kolodny's gemstone bead necklaces in columbian emerald, citrine, tourmaline, turquoise and chrysoprase.

Patricia's geometric Citrine Bead Necklaces accented with turquoise or spinel were colorful favorites. Her Warm-Toned Tourmaline Bead Necklace and Opera-Length Colombian Emerald Necklace complete with 22k gold beads drew awe. But the showstopper? A 22k Boulder Opal Necklace with a fully handcrafted gold chain—pure treasure.

Shari Stadel's silver chess piece necklace and elephant skin inspired silver bracelet with a skull ring.

Shari’s Solid Silver Textured Pendant on Cord sparked conversation—especially when one stylish guest cleverly used it as an eyeglass holder. Her Rhodolite Garnet and Opal Earrings in rose gold were another hit, along with her perennial favorite: the Green Prehnite Scroll Ring in gold.

Ola de Agua's silver necklaces, men's cuff bracelets, and men's silver rings.

Our go-to line for men’s jewelry, Ola de Agua, made a strong impression with its Solid Silver and Brass Cuffs and bold ring styles. The Twisted Ring and 3 Open Ring were particular standouts for their edgy, wearable style.
