Holiday 2020 Collection Launch

This past week we launched our Holiday 2020 Collection; mostly one-of-a-kind beautiful handcrafted jewelry exclusive to Space 85 now through the holidays.

The "collection" features seasonal inspired jewelry as well as year round jewels; gift-able pieces priced from $125 to more investment pieces at $13,000.

To celebrate the launch of this special collection, JCK featured an article in their online magazine. Click here to read the full article.

All of the 28 pieces are unique and stunning so it's hard to choose favorites. But here are some stand out pieces from the Holiday Collection.

Linda Hoj's Morning Star hexagonal diamond earrings in 22k are reminiscent of hexagonal snowflakes falling against a dark sky on a cold winter's night. Linda's inspiration for the earrings initiated with the diamonds themselves and how the sizes related to one another. "They emanate light yet have a toughness to them as if they are a piece of armor." - Linda Hoj

iSeira's aquamarine pod earrings are set in 22k yellow gold and the ice blue color of the aquamarine's make me think of festive sleigh rides through a winter wonderland. iSeira's signature pod drop motif is used as well as gemstones, which are new for her and debut in the holiday collection.

Linda Hoj's Pretty Persuasion talisman necklace of a ruby studded serpent glistening in 22k gold is high on my wish list. Linda knew immediately the rubies would become a snake to symbolize rebirth and renewal and to help remind us that it is never too late to make the life we want to live.  An empowering and powerful statement as we leave 2020 behind us and make New Year's resolutions for a better 2021.

The cap rings by Alex Story Jewelry are mega fun and unexpected. These tiny little visor hats sit happily on your finger to make you smile all day. A great conversation starter and perfect gift for that someone who appreciates unique and uncommon pieces.

Ruth Edelson's cast in place sapphire argentium silver earrings have a story that might be familiar to many of us. While in quarantine, Ruth created these one of kind earrings with full creative license. Her "time off" allowed her to create pieces that were "whimsical and not so serious." Her jewelry making became a fun distraction to bring "fun, joy, and a smile."

A one-of-a-kind ring by Dorothy Friedberg with an 11 carat blue topaz, mixes Dori's inspiration from nature and hefty jewelry construction abilities. The band of the ring was inspired after elegant dress tayloring, and her love of botanicals is reflective on the top of the ring surrounding the icy blue topaz. The texture is created with actual petals.
